I have the honour to report
that in consequence of the continual sickness of the
Police Serjeants and Constables named in the margin, and the visible incapability of their performing the Police duties even when off the sick report, which materially interferes with the Police arrangements; I applied to the Colonial Surgeon to furnish a report upon their respective cases, which I now submit. This report certifies that the four first named men are unfit for the Police Service, and as they are very desirous of resigning in order to take their families to India with the intention of living there upon the pensions granted them for Military Service,
